ASMIRA Connection Displays

On the top right side of the ASMIRA web client user interface, there is a “Drone UID:” text box field, followed by a “Connect” button, in orange.

Typing in the Drone UID (for example, sky4) and selecting the “Connect” button connects the RPIC Control Station to the aircraft.

CAUTION: The aircraft UID must be in all lowercase with no spaces. Failure to comply will result in the inability to connect to the aircraft video stream.

After connecting, the web client displays the video feed in the center of the screen, with a several status message fields displayed in the top right corner of the UI below the Drone UID field:

Viewer Disconnected/Connected: Indicates if the web client is able to connect to the video server.

Not Streaming/Streaming: Indicates if the aircraft video stream is actively being received.

Sender Disconnected/Connected: Indicates if the aircraft video streaming software is connected and able to stream data.
