Selectable Settings and Performance Metrics

To view if and how well ASMIRA is running on the network, the RPIC may review the metric fields for determining which decoder is in use, the resolution of the video feed, and the bitrate.

Viewing ASMIRA Metrics

The RPIC can select whether they wish the stream to be in standard or high definition by selecting either the “SD” or “HD” button below the “Connect” button in the top right of the UI.

The RPIC may select the rightmost settings button, represented by the gear icon, which populates three additional selectable options upon the UI. A description of each option is provided below.

  • Enable jitter buffer: When selected the web client reduces jitter by increasing continuity of signals under low bandwidth and/or high latency.

  • Display WebSockets latency: When selected, the latency is displayed.

  • Scale video to window size: When selected the web client optimizes the resolution of the video stream to fit within the window frame of the device being streamed to.
