Auterion Mission Control Setup
Once the RPIC Tablet is set up and configured, Auterion Mission Control (AMC) can be opened. AMC is a dedicated application installed on the tablet PC and is launched from the tablet.
This procedure should be performed in accordance with the Aircraft Starting procedure. This procedure expands upon the aircraft-specific steps provided in the flight manual and provides additional information on the associated element.
- AMC Application: Double click the AMC application shortcut on the RPIC Tablet. This will open the application. The application will open to the Fly View screen.

- AMC-Aircraft Connection: Connect to the aircraft through the Comm Links tab if the aircraft has previously been paired with AMC. This step should be automatically completed by the AMC application within 60 seconds from aircraft and tablet power on. If an aircraft has not been previously paired with AMC, it should be set up in accordance with Section 5 of the UMM. Once a particular PRISM aircraft is paired, the AMC application will store the configuration settings and allow for easy, automatic reconnection once both the tablet and the aircraft are powered on. Initial pairing is not required before every flight.
Once the aircraft is connected, the Aircraft Status Indicator in the top right of the Fly View screen will show the following figure.

If no aircraft is connected to AMC, the application will indicate “Waiting for a vehicle” in lieu of “Ready to Fly”.

If an aircraft is connected to AMC but initial automated autopilot preflight checks are not completed yet, AMC will indicate the Aircraft Status as “Not Ready to Fly”.

Preflight checks and AMC-aircraft LTE connection can take up to 60 seconds to complete from when power is applied to both systems.
At this time, the aircraft arming status should be Disarmed. This will be indicated on the Fly View screen on the center of the upper toolbar.
