  1. Power On Zebra Scanner: Ensure the battery is properly inserted and adequately charged prior to attempting to power on the device. Press and hold the power button on the top of the scanner until the device screen illuminates. Allow time for the device to perform its bootup sequence.

  2. Create HubOps MCA User Profile: Prior to logging into the HubOps MCA, a user profile must be created. Submit a request to the manufacturer to have a user profile created. When a user profile is created, the RPIC will receive an email with a unique pin code.

  3. HubOps MCA Login: Select the HubOps MCA shortcut on the Zebra scanner. Enter username (email address) and password (pin code). The app displays the modules related to the RPIC’s role and level of access.

NOTE: The username is case-sensitive. If the username is incorrectly entered after account creation, a “User can not be found” error message is displayed.

Each device stores the last 12 verified logins as well as the default location. This means that the RPIC who makes regular use of the device is only required to enter their pin code.

  1. HubOps MCA Shifts: Add and assign crew members to a shift within the “Shifts” tile. Once the “Add Shift” button is selected, the RPIC must designate a shift name, start time, and end time. The shift name must be identical to the droneport identifier of the crew’s currently assigned delivery location. For example, VB0001 or TX0001.
