Soft Rebooting the Aircraft
In the event that a soft reboot of the aircraft is required, the following procedure is to be executed.
NOTE: Soft reboot of the aircraft is only required under nominal conditions as part of the Energy Storage Device Hot Swap procedure. The procedure is also utilized for the performance of maintenance activities in accordance with the PRISM V2.3 UMM.
Performing a soft reboot of the PRISM V2.3 aircraft is accomplished in AMC with the aircraft connected to the appropriate GCS running AMC.
- Open the Vehicle Setup tab of AMC.
- Open the Safety tab.
- Select Reboot Vehicle.
The autopilot will reboot immediately and sound off a series of tones before automatically reconnecting.
Confirm that the energy storage device voltage and consumption is as expected in AMC.
- Proceed to Aircraft Starting procedure.
