Aircraft Shutdown

Andi Lamprecht Andi Lamprecht ·· 1 min read· Draft

Once the aircraft has landed and disarmed, which is confirmed by the RPIC via the RPIC Control Station Landing & Recovery procedure by ensuring that the parachute canister indicator displays the indication for disarmed and the mission has been completed within Uncrew, the following procedure is to be completed.

  1. Aircraft Stationary: Verify through visual inspection that the aircraft propellers are stationary (i.e. no longer rotating).

  2. Parachute Status: From outside the safety area, confirm that the parachute canister indicator located on the canister is blinking green.

  3. Check mission is complete, no active missions: Confirm on the Mission Console screen via the left panel that there are no active missions.

  4. Voice Comms: Announce “Safe to Approach”.

  5. HubOps MCA: If applicable, select “INBOUND LEG COMPLETE” followed by “COMPLETED SUCCESSFULLY”. If for any reason the inbound flight leg or landing was not performed nominally, select “FAILED”.
