Aborted Landing
NOTE: The halting of the landing sequence due to obstruction or persons in the safety area may be resolved by following this procedure without effects to safety (NEGLIGIBLE)

INDICATIONS

  1. Nonparticipating individuals in the safety area

  2. Obstruction in the safety area

FAILSAFE BEHAVIOR

There is no Failsafe for this emergency.

PROCEDURE

Aborted Landing ANNOUNCE

If Uncrew Available:

Uncrew: Pause Button SELECT

Obstruction

Clear obstruction.

If unable to clear obstruction:

Uncrew: ALZ SELECT

AMC: PLD or LAND SELECT

Confirm selection.

Procedure Complete

If Uncrew Not Available:

AMC: Altitude Slider SELECT

Confirm selection.

Obstruction

Clear obstruction.

If unable to clear obstruction:

Refer to Click to Fly Procedure, Section 4.3.2.1

AMC: PLD or LAND SELECT

Confirm selection.

NOTE: Selecting & Confirming the Altitude Slider in AMC without manipulating slider value will command A/C to enter Hold mode and halt climb/descent.
