Accelerometer Failure
WARNING: Accelerometer Failure may result in the aircraft's inability to maintain position, attitude, and stability of flight resulting in any of the following: minor injuries, minor damage to manned aircraft, substantial damage to unmanned aircraft (MINOR)

INDICATIONS

  1. Warning Message: “Accel # Timeout”
  2. Erratic flight behavior after takeoff

FAILSAFE BEHAVIOR

There is no Failsafe for this emergency.

PROCEDURE

Accelerometer Failure ANNOUNCE

If Controllable:

Uncrew: Land in Place SELECT

Aircraft Disarmed CONFIRM

Procedure Complete

If Uncontrollable:

AMC: Emergency Actions Button SELECT

AMC: Hold to Confirm SELECT & HOLD

CAUTION: This action will result in deployment of the parachute.
