In-Flight Remote ID Failure
NOTE: UA are required to operate with a functional Remote ID system. If Remote ID stops functioning during flight, the aircraft must land as soon as possible or it will be in violation of FAA regulations.
INDICATIONS
- Remote ID Indicator (AMC) is not green
- GCS Remote ID GPS device is disconnected
- Warning Message: Open Drone ID system not ready
FAILSAFE BEHAVIOR
There is no Failsafe for this emergency.
PROCEDURE
CAUTION: If Remote ID fails after selecting start delivery in Uncrew, the delivery operation should be completed prior to landing as soon as possible at closest ALZ. Failure to strictly observe this condition could result in damage to or destruction of equipment, loss of mission effectiveness, or health hazards to personnel.
